WHAT DO YOU WANT FOR OUR FUTURE?

Many things have changed over the last four years and it's time to once again take stock of our community priorities. Council is reviewing its 10-year Strategic Plan for our future and would like to invite you to share your vision.

The Community Strategic Plan sets the overarching direction for all of Council's services and programs during the next four years, and assists Council to work towards achieving the long term vision of the Community.

We're listening and together we can ensure we continue working towards a shared long-term vision for Tenterfield Shire Council.

On 1 October 2009, the NSW Government’s new framework for integrated planning and reporting for local councils came into effect.

Each council in NSW is required to prepare and review a number of plans, which provide details on how the council intends to deliver services and infrastructure in the short and long term, based on community priorities that have been identified through community consultation and engagement.

This web page has been designed to gather information from community members to review the existing Community Strategic Plan for Tenterfield Shire Council and revise our future 10 year vision where needed.

This vision will then enable Council to review its resources and strategies to ensure we deliver the vision.  Council developed the original plan locally with input from the community and other government agencies.
