Village Entry Signs

Project Overview

As part of the Stronger Country Communities Fund, we're installing new signage at the entry points to each of the villages; Urbenville, Jennings, Drake, Mingoola, Liston, Legume and Torrington.

A variety of designs have been developed, check out the document library for all the designs. Feedback for this project closed on 14 April, 2020, please watch this page for updates on the project.

NSW Acknowledgement signs

In the week commencing 24 February, signs were erected in each of our villages. These signs explain the funding provided by the NSW Government for this project. The location of these signs are suggested locations for the new village signs, however your feedback on their location is welcome.

Keep an eye out for these signs in your village.

Information Packages

In the week commencing 24 February, Council sent out information packs to each of the village progress associations and hall committees. These packs had all the information included online. The packs will give village associations and committees an opportunity to provide feedback as a whole.
